Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I need to re-enter employee and employer details on the e-stamping page if they're already in Worksy?
No. The e-stamping submission pulls from the employee and company profile information already in Worksy. You don’t need to key it in again.
- How quickly will I receive the stamp certificate after submitting?
Worksy submits the documentation to LHDN via API. The response time depends on LHDN’s processing speed, not Worksy’s.
- How is the stamp certificate returned?
Once LHDN has processed the submission, the result is returned to Worksy and reflected on the E-Stamping screen as a downloadable PDF file.
- Which LHDN branch is the submission routed to?
You don’t need to select one. LHDN determines the relevant branch during processing. Under the Stamp Duty Self-Assessment System (SDSAS) that rolled out on 1 January 2026, most standard documents bypass traditional branch adjudication entirely, which reduces processing time.
- Do I need to fill in contract details like the contract date and remuneration amount?
No. In Worksy, you only need to upload a copy of the offer letter. The document is then submitted to LHDN for processing.
- Will Worksy provide the official receipt, Borang Nyata, and Slip Pengesahan from LHDN?
LHDN returns the Sijil Setem and Slip Pengesahan together in a single PDF file. The Borang Nyata refers to the employee and employer information, which Worksy maps automatically from your existing records before submission to LHDN.
